Every American must be able to
vote safely and securely.

Our Principles

The VoteSafe principles have been endorsed by election officials from across the political spectrum as well as national organizations including The League of Women Voters and R Street.

Rather than turn to celebrities or lawmakers to defend the system, VoteSafe’s use of the trusted and familiar image of local elections workers could help the ads land among an increasingly skeptical public.

Our Principles

  1. All states and US territories should ensure voters have accessible, secure mail-in ballots and safe, in-person voting sites.
  2. Public officials shall use all tools within their authority to ensure that every ballot is verified and every vote is counted. The American people must be able to trust the process and the result.

Ensuring that Americans can vote safely and securely amidst the pandemic is not a partisan issue. It’s good for Republicans, Democrats, and everyone else. Let’s remember that voting isn’t a privilege, it’s a responsibility of citizenship. Responsibility also rests with government to make certain that every American has the right to vote safely during this public health crisis.
